Certificate of Recognition (COR) Program

The Certificate of Recognition (COR) program is a health and safety certification program. It is designed to equip participants with the resources and skills to develop and maintain accredited, in-house safety management systems unique to their workplaces. To be certified, participants complete three compulsory courses and one elective course, and must conduct a safety audit.

The combination of compulsory and elective courses helps participants and, in turn, their organizations, understand occupational health and safety-related legislation, as well as the safe workplace rights of workers and employers. Organizations who participate in the COR program are more likely to avoid liability and ensure due diligence.

The NCSA offers a variety of safety education programs to employers and employees.
